Boss came to us a bomb sniffer dog. We tried to place him but (so what's new!) we fell in love with him. So rather than send him back into that world, we decided to keep him. Boss will be
working on his Schutzhund titles in the next year. He obviously has an excellent nose, has great obedience and a good Schutzhund bite. He is calm, yet playful and loves hanging out in the
house when Rickie isn't around. (Did we mention that Boss is World Champion Tom van't Leefdaalhof's son?)

Okay again. We fell in love with Panter and he is now stuck with us.Very handsome red sable male with pronounced pigment. His medium size and broad chest makes him a compact yet powerful

high powered stuff, this dog has a great sense of humor. In fact, we call him "Panticakes" behind his back of course!)

Mark affectionate called "The Moose" is a bit gangly. He is so full of joy and playful energy, we can't seem to fatten him up.
Mark has discovered his archenemy, THE SQUIRREL. He runs out in the morning, finds the "squirrel tree" and runs up and down in front of it... for hours! We believe the squirrel has decided to tease Mark. I am not sure but think that Squirrel is throwing things at him. When Squirrel is not around, Mark plays with his huge (really huge) blue ball.
His dark face makes him menacing looking but he is really an old softy.

Squishy as she was affectionately named by an anonymous source (Chuck) likes spending her days jumping and running. She
eats like a horse and still stays sleek. If we could market her metabolism, we would be very rich! Squishy is a sweet dog that likes to hang out with humans more than other dogs. She likes
to chase cats. She sees Pepa as a nice mid morning snack. Other than that she is perfect!

"Bo Peep" is now as tall as her mother Beah but very sleek. We do feed her and she does eat but she is slender as a rail. Maybe that is because she likes running around the
kennels and checking on the dogs to make sure they are "toeing the line". Bo is very good at reaching food left on the counter. In fact, she can even reach into the sink and pull out pots
and pans. We think Chepa taught her how to do that!

Truth be know, Tom named her Piggy when she was little because she liked to eat a lot (as all puppies do). It stuck! She isn't really a piggy anymore but she doesn't come unless she is
called "Piggy" So that's that! Pig is a water dog just like her Mom Amber. She is in and out of the water in all kinds of weather. She even likes sitting out in the rain especially if it is
pouring!

Pookey Chop Chop is an Aya x Panter puppy. She is very laid back and has a very sweet disposition. She loves watching and playing with all the little puppies and is extremely gentle with
them. Whenever we can't find her, she is usually hanging out with the new puppies... either outside the whelping room, outside the x-pen or outside the kennels. She just watches and watches
the little one until they can come out and play. Pooka likes to eat her food lying down?! She also has the ability to fall asleep anywhere and at anytime.

Aya, also known as Eyelash, is a real sweetie. Eyelash especially likes sleeping with The Child. Aya loves going for a dip in the pool. She uses the pool stairs, does a lap
or two and then gracefully exits via the stairs. She is loved almost to death!

Chepa is in Fairfield, CT keeping her von der Teuth "brother" Max in line. She had quite the interest in the beloved house cats but has now come to accept that the cats are not moving squeaky toys for her pleasure! We have had several reports that she is still quite the schemer... she is probably figuring out her food stealing tactics.

Chepa is our smartest dog. She figured out how to open the kennel latch and she wanders around and helps herself to the dog food whenever she is hungry. She also opens the
milk bone tin so that the other dogs can help themselves. It would be upsetting if it wasn't so funny! Chepa is no longer a little puppy. We just can't get a good picture of her?! Maybe she
thinks we are trying to get a police "mug" shot of her so we can put her on the most wanted food stealing list.

The Lady is enjoying her retirement by eating lots and sleeping. She has unfortunately gotten quite "round". She remains as sweet as ever and patiently tolerates all the different puppies as they climb all over her.
More Beah
Lady Beah is a gentle soul. As one of the permanent (not rotating) house dogs, she is the universal "mother". It doesn't matter to her if a puppy is not hers, she is sweet
and tolerant. She lets babies, toddlers, children and dogs walk (literally) all over her, a patient yet resigned expression on her face. She loves riding in the car best of all.

Our sweet "Ari Calamari", super dog from our first breeding, is now watching over his family from dog heaven. He is sorely missed and was one of the bestest dogs ever.

Ari hasn't changed much. He spends most of his day trying to bite the water from the sprinkler. If the sprinkler isn't running , he looks for faucet drips. If there aren't any drips,
he likes to attack the hose, bite the connector off and leave bite holes everywhere. We estimate that we need to buy an average of 4 hoses - extra long ones at that - twice a year (about 24 so far!).
We are contemplating buying stock in a hose manufacturing company soon. Pedigree |

Amber lost her battle with cancer. It was quick and hopefully less painful but her family didn't have a lot of time to get over their loss. Their tears are our tears.
ADOPTED!
We are so happy for her. She will be living with a wonderful family in the Boston area. She will have a pond all to herself, 3 kids to play with and a nice new house to spray with mud.
We will miss her tremendously. She will always be a part of us in spirit and in thought.
More Amber
Amber loves to play in the mud with her Boomer ball and just loves to come bounding into the house covered with mud. She waits until an unsuspecting being is near her and
...then she shakes, spraying mud all over the place! This works especially well when we are eating dinner. (We think this is why our friend Gerlinde refuses to visit us)
