More Panter
Okay again. We fell in love with Panter and he is now stuck with us.Very handsome red sable male with pronounced pigment. His medium size and broad chest makes him a compact yet powerful dog. He has a great working pedigree and a "G" show rating. Super, mature dog. Very good bite and tracking and a great willingness to work for the handler. (In addition to all the above high powered stuff, this dog has a great sense of humor. In fact, we call him "Panticakes" behind his back of course!)

G Molinari Hexe, BH, AD

Hexe is a very active dog. She likes to play with Boss and actually is our only female that gives him a hard time. Other than rough playing with Boss, she is very gentle and sweet (look into her eyes!). She likes to try to sit on our laps which is okay some of the time... this depends on how much mud she has been stomping in... she is rather a tomboy dog and doesn't care about tracking dirt all over the place, especially freshly laundered pants and ESPECIALLY white tee shirts! Hexe means "witch" in German. Hmmm... Love her lots.
pooka von der teuth
Pooka von der Teuth

More Pooka
Pookey Chop Chop is an Aya x Panter puppy. She is very laid back and has a very sweet disposition. She loves watching and playing with all the little puppies and is extremely gentle with them. Whenever we can't find her, she is usually hanging out with the new puppies... either outside the whelping room, outside the x-pen or outside the kennels. She just watches and watches the little one until they can come out and play. Pooka likes to eat her food lying down?! She also has the ability to fall asleep anywhere and at anytime.

Juni von der Teuth

More Juni
AKA as Junior, Bug, Juni Bug, the Bugman. NOT "June Buggy"!
Pepa

Pepa

Pepa, the tiny black dog, is the most ferocious of the bunch. In her spare time, Pepa likes to hunt for snakes, rodents and any other small critters. Pepa is also known as the black monster.

Aya

Aya von der Teuth

Eyelash is in Connecticut living with Nick and Mary and her son Bosco.

More Aya
Aya, also known as Eyelash, is a real sweetie. Eyelash especially likes sleeping with The Child. Aya loves going for a dip in the pool. She uses the pool stairs, does a lap or two and then gracefully exits via the stairs. She is loved almost to death!

Chepa
Chepa von der Teuth

Chepa is with Janet in Cape Cod, tracking in sand and she is probably figuring out her food stealing tactics.

More Chepa
Chepa is our smartest dog. She figured out how to open the kennel latch and she wanders around and helps herself to the dog food whenever she is hungry. She also opens the milk bone tin so that the other dogs can help themselves. It would be upsetting if it wasn't so funny! Chepa is no longer a little puppy. We just can't get a good picture of her?! Maybe she thinks we are trying to get a police "mug" shot of her so we can put her on the most wanted food stealing list.
Bea vom Gellershagener Land
Bea vom Gellershagener Land, SchH1

The Lady is enjoying her retirement by eating lots and sleeping. She has unfortunately gotten quite "round". She remains as sweet as ever and patiently tolerates all the different puppies as they climb all over her.

More Beah
Lady Beah is a gentle soul. As one of the permanent (not rotating) house dogs, she is the universal "mother". It doesn't matter to her if a puppy is not hers, she is sweet and tolerant. She lets babies, toddlers, children and dogs walk (literally) all over her, a patient yet resigned expression on her face. She loves riding in the car best of all.
Pedigree
Jabina Lanka

NALA IS NOW OFFICIALLY RETIRED AND HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

She will be living with a wonderful family in Cambridge...and is now looking forward to living the city life... Lattes, sidewalks, traffic and leash walks. "Nally" is gone but will never be forgotten.
More Nala

"Nala" thinks this picture is too formal. So we have included a "dorky" picture of her. Usually, her ears stand straight up and she doesn't look so much like a bat. But we feel bad just showing her goofy side so.... we added a nicer picture of her!
Tammy
Jabina Tammy, SchH1

Tammy has found her forever home!!
More Tammy
Tammy continues to be her happy, playful self. Tennis balls last about 5 seconds (okay, minutes) in her mouth before they become fuzz with rubber guts. We have started throwing her apples. We figure they are edible. She likes those as well, they are healthy and we don't care if nothing remains!

V Maya vom Heidknapp SchH3, KKL1

More Maya

With great sadness, we announce that on December 17, 2001, Maya lost her long fight with cancer. She was a faithful and loyal friend and we will miss her forever. Maya you will always be in our heart.
Ritschi von der Sumpfheide
Ritschi von der Sumpfheide, SchH3

Rickie the Pickle, frog catcher supreme, loved by all has now joined Maya. He continues to watch over us. Joyous memories of his silly antics help us hold back the tears.

More Rickie
Rickie has decided that Tom is his special person. When Tom leaves, Rickie plants himself on the bed (rain or shine - we do a lot of laundry here) that has a window view overlooking the driveway. He just waits and waits until he hears the car and then... with one bound, he is down the stairs and out the door. If the door happens to be closed, well that is a story unto itself... Did we tell you about the window? (That is how he got his nickname Frankensnout)
Pedigree
Bea
Bea

Bea is the guarder of the food. No matter how much food is out, Bea feels it is her job to guard it. An Australian Shepherd, Bea likes to spend her days either guarding food or herding... big dogs, little dogs, puppies, chickens, people...
Ari
Ari von der Teuth

Our sweet "Ari Calamari" - gone but not forgotten!

More Ari
Ari hasn't changed much. He spends most of his day trying to bite the water from the sprinkler. If the sprinkler isn't running , he looks for faucet drips. If there aren't any drips, he likes to attack the hose, bite the connector off and leave bite holes everywhere. We estimate that we need to buy an average of 4 hoses - extra long ones at that - twice a year (about 24 so far!). We are contemplating buying stock in a hose manufacturing company soon.

Amber

Amber von der Nielbas, PH1, A2

We will miss her tremendously. She will always be a part of us in spirit and in thought.

More Amber
Amber loves to play in the mud with her Boomer ball and just loves to come bounding into the house covered with mud. She waits until an unsuspecting being is near her and ...then she shakes, spraying mud all over the place! This works especially well when we are eating dinner. (We think this is why our friend Gerlinde refuses to visit us)
